I love this smoothie and keep on twisting the recipe depending on the season. The following works for Spring and Summer. If you love getting a smoothie when the cold season starts, you can add 1 or 2 teaspoon of Maca powder and replace the pineapple juice by freshly squeezed orange juice and the berries by one big apple or 2 small (preferably Pink ladies) + half of a ripe banana:
Ingredients for 2 big glasses of smoothie:
350 gr of frozen wild organic mixed berries
1/2 glass of freshly squeezed pineapple juice
1 glass of organic coconut water
The juice of an organic lime
If you love it (I do), you can also add a tiny little bit of organic cayenne pepper powder, especially when the cold season starts. Same as you would do with chocolate powder on your cappuccino. This is just to spice it up, if you feel like it.
Mix all the ingredients in a blender and pour it directly in two glasses to enjoy right away (you keep all the vitamins intact if you do so). Cut some fresh mint and mix it directly into the glass, that is nice too. If you like it sweeter, you can add some organic acacia honey or organic liquid stevia.
Result: tasting the sweetest and healthiest homemade drink, a wonder for skin, complexion and energy!
